Records have been found dating the origins of mounted archery back more than 5,000 years. It was in the Eurasian steppes where the communion between the bow, the human being, and the horse took place. The development of this combined skill allowed the expansion of peoples like never before and constituted a fundamental tool for survival for many centuries.

Today, those traditions common to so many cultures around the world have been recovered, and it is possible to practice mounted archery at a competitive level in more than 50 countries.
